Do I need to bring my own racquet?

DTA can absolutely provide a racquet for as many sessions as needed, no matter your level. However, having your own equipment is highly recommended. As an official HEAD-sponsored academy, DTA offers exclusive pricing on pro-grade HEAD racquets and bags directly through our coaching team. Just ask us!

What is the DTA uniform and what should I wear?

We treat tennis as a professional sport. Players are encouraged to wear comfortable athletic clothing and proper non-marking tennis shoes. We encourage all players to represent the DTA family with pride at every session!

What happens if it rains or there is extreme heat?

Accepted Answer

Because we operate on outdoor courts, weather occasionally interrupts play. If a class is cancelled due to rain, unplayable courts, or extreme heat, DTA will notify parents and players directly via text message/email prior to the lesson.

Do you offer make-up classes if a week is missed?

Accepted Answer

Yes. If DTA cancels a class due to weather, we will do our best to arrange a make-up class for you within the current term. (Note: Make-up classes are subject to availability).

How do I know which squad or Hot Shots stage my child belongs in?

Our DTA Pathway is carefully structured by age and skill level. For beginners, age is the best guide (e.g., Blue Stage for ages 3-5, Red Stage for ages 5-8). If your child has previous experience or is looking to join our higher-tier Challenger, Tour, or High-Performance squads, we will conduct a quick on-court assessment during their first session to ensure they are placed in the perfect group for their development.
