BUILD YOUR CAREER WITH DTA
We are always on the lookout for passionate, driven, and reliable coaches to join our expanding team at Wonga Park Tennis Club. Whether you are a seasoned Club Professional or a raw, high-energy junior looking to take your first steps into coaching, DTA offers an elite environment to develop your skills. We don't just teach tennis; we build coaching careers.

The DTA Coaching Culture
Elite Mentorship
You aren’t just thrown on a court and left alone. You will be actively mentored by our Director, Andrew Dellavedova, and our founder, Peter Dellavedova, drawing on over 50 years of industry expertise.
Modern Methodology
Our staff are trained using industry-leading resources—such as Doug Lemov’s The Coach’s Guide to Teaching and the Kovacs Serve Certification—ensuring you become a master of modern biomechanics and pedagogy.
Premium Environment
You will be coaching at a premier 8-court facility (Plexicushion, En-Tout-Cas, and Concrete) with a strict 2:8 coach-to-player ratio for our squads. This means you actually get to coach, rather than just manage crowds.
Career Progression
From assisting our Blue Stage Hot Shots to leading our High-Performance Academy, we provide a clear pathway for our coaches to gain their Tennis Australia certifications and grow their on-court hours.
Who We Are Looking For
We are currently accepting expressions of interest for both Assistant Coaches and Senior Pathway Coaches. The ideal DTA coach is:
High-Energy
You bring enthusiasm to every single session, whether it’s a group of 5-year-olds or an elite 16-year-old tournament player.
A Team Player
You thrive in a collaborative environment and are ready to work alongside another coach in our 2:8 ratio squads.
Professional
You understand that being on time, wearing the DTA uniform with pride, and communicating clearly with parents are non-negotiable.
Eager to Learn
You leave your ego at the gate. You want to refine your feeding, improve your technical eye, and become the best coach you can be.
