The Home of DTA:
Wonga Park Tennis Club
Dellavedova Tennis Academy operates exclusively out of the Wonga Park Tennis Club—one of the premier tennis facilities in Melbourne's eastern suburbs. Nestled in a strong, family-focused community, our facility offers everything a player needs to develop their game.

Train for Every Condition
To build a complete, all-court game, players need to learn how to move and strike the ball on different surfaces. DTA players have access to 8 fully lit courts across three distinct surface types—a rare advantage that develops true adaptability. Whether you're preparing for a local weekend comp or an interstate tournament, training on multiple surfaces gives you the edge.

2 Blue Plexicushion Courts
The Grand Slam Standard
The exact hardcourt surface used at the Australian Open. Delivers a medium speed, true bounce that rewards clean ball-striking and precise footwork.
Perfect for developing aggressive baseline power, precise timing, and modern hardcourt movement. Our HPA squad trains primarily on these courts.

5 En-Tout-Cas Courts
The Tactician's Surface
Classic red, porous clay-style courts. Slower pace and higher bounce that demands patience and tactical intelligence.
Essential for teaching players how to construct points, slide defensively, and build stamina. Highly forgiving on the joints—ideal for adult players and extended training sessions.

1 Concrete Hard Court
The Fundamental Hardcourt
A traditional, durable hard court with incredibly consistent, medium-fast bounce.
Excellent for fundamental stroke development and reliable drill execution. Frequently used for private coaching sessions.

Built for Players, by Players
Every element of Wonga Park Tennis Club has been considered with the player in mind. Full court lighting means training isn't limited to daylight hours—our evening sessions run until 10 PM, perfect for working professionals and school-age juniors. The club is surrounded by mature trees and green parkland, creating a focused, distraction-free atmosphere that's hard to find at suburban facilities.
DTA has invested significantly in the quality and maintenance of the playing surfaces. Every court is professionally maintained to ensure consistent bounce, proper drainage, and safe footing. We treat our courts like a pro would treat Centre Court.
